The Old Orchard Beach Bugs formed in 2024 after Wasabi Venture Sports Management bought the team. The team competed in their first season in 2024, coming just short of a GNCBL Title.
The Beach Bugs play in "The Ballpark". This stadium is known for its historical value to Old Orchard Beach. The Ballpark has a capacity of 3,000 seats and is located at 14 Emerson Cummings Blvd, Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064
The team plays in the Greater Northeast Collegiate Baseball League. This wooden bat league was formed in the summer of 2017 with four teams. The GNCBL strives to provide a home for collegiate baseball players looking to further their competitive spirit in the summer months.
